SFB 1083 organized the ICII-2016 International Conference on Internal Interfaces in Marburg.

The meeting brought together more than 120 scientists from across the world. Oral and poster sessions set the framework for intensive discussions on the newest developments in a fast-changing research field. Bringing together world-renowned scientists in interface-research provided a stimulating setting for the next generation of scientists to present their work. The attractive setting for the event provided by the Philipps-Universität Marburg and the city contributed to making it a memorable meeting.
